Outlands has its own page within my portfolio exhibiting the static work I did for this project. However, these are the animations that I developed for this project that ended up being unimplemented when the project was archived.
3D Chatheads
A series of different animations I did for a client’s RPG. The faces would be displayed in the chat area and change based on the dialogue presented.
The client’s goal was to hook this system up to different facial models all able to use the same set of animations to express different emotions. Therefore, the client's requirement was that the animation use bones only so that different heads could be swapped without having to rekey blendshapes.

The Legend of Janovi was a multifaceted JRPG. This was work I completed for a client that was working with another illustrator. I had the privilege of working with high quality static 2D assets to create all the motion elements (character animations and FX) for this project. Some of my specific contributions are illustrated in the below video demonstrating the various effects and animations for the battle backgrounds, as well as the character animations for the battle scenes.
While The Legend of Janovi was eventually a canceled project, I really enjoyed creating the various pieces my client commissioned. |
This was a short splash screen I created for the Hungry Dog Games studio. The animation was fully drafted, and animated by hand. Character design by myself.
